Adjacent to a protected nature reserve in the exclusive Vista Royal, Jan Thiel, lies Villa Jamila: a private boutique villa designed around the concepts of slow living, relaxed luxury and tropical indoor-outdoor living.

Surrounded by a mature tropical garden filled with palm trees, exotic plants, colourful birds and iguanas, the villa feels peaceful, lush and completely private — yet the beaches, restaurants and beach clubs of Jan Thiel and Caracasbaai are just around 1,000 metres away.

Villa Jamila is not your typical holiday villa, but a carefully designed private retreat where architecture, atmosphere, comfort and design come together seamlessly. A place where mornings begin peacefully, afternoons give way to long lunches by the pool, and evenings draw to a close beneath the Caribbean starry sky.

The villa has been designed to strike a natural balance between socialising and privacy. A variety of indoor and outdoor living spaces allow guests to move effortlessly between social areas, tropical lounges and quiet spots where they can retreat for a moment.

The Villa
Villa Jamila can accommodate up to 15 guests. The villa features five luxurious king suites with a boutique hotel feel. Each suite is equipped with a king-size double bed (180 x 210 cm), air conditioning, a smart TV and an en-suite bathroom.

In addition, there is a sixth bedroom furnished as a family room, featuring a king-size double bed (180 x 210 cm), a separate sleeping area with bunk beds, two air conditioning units, a smart TV and an en-suite bathroom.

Throughout the villa, warm natural materials, soft colours, wooden accents and carefully selected furniture create an elegant and relaxed atmosphere. Large sliding doors at both the front and rear allow the indoors and outdoors to blend seamlessly.

Swimming Pools & Lounges
Villa Jamila features two swimming pools, each with its own unique atmosphere and experience. The rear pool forms the heart of the outdoor living area, with a swim-up bar by the sunken lounge beneath a large palapa. This area also houses the outdoor kitchen, refrigerators and barbecue — perfect for long evenings in a tropical setting.

The front pool is designed for sunny, relaxing days and features luxurious sun loungers and comfortable seating areas with views of Table Mountain and the tropical garden.

Kitchen & Dining
The fully equipped designer kitchen spans the entire width of the villa. The French shutters, featuring an integrated bar and bar stools, create a direct connection to the spacious terrace. The kitchen is fitted with high-quality appliances, multiple ovens, dishwashers, wine coolers and a large American-style fridge.

Dining together is possible both indoors at the spacious dining table and outdoors under the front porch, with views of the swimming pool and the Spanish Water.

Private Cinema & Entertainment
Villa Jamila features a private cinema and entertainment room — perfect for relaxing film nights or entertaining family and friends.

Working in Curaçao
For guests who wish to combine work and leisure, there is an office area available equipped with a printer and external computer monitors. The villa also offers free high-speed internet in all living areas.

Natural Cooling & Full Air Conditioning
Thanks to its favourable position in the wind and its open architecture, a cooling Caribbean breeze flows almost continuously through the indoor and outdoor living areas.

For added comfort, the entire villa — including all living areas — can be fully air-conditioned. A rare luxury on Curaçao, where usually only bedrooms are fitted with air conditioning.
