The Blue Bay resort owes its name to the name of the land on which it lies. Before 1700 this was owned by Anno Blaauw who called the piece of land Blaauwbaai. Mr. Blaauw grew limes, oranges and the blue dye Indigo. The resort has a rich history.
In World War II it was used by the Americans who made sea attacks from here. In 1990, the plantation was taken over by the Jacobs family who built the base and infrastructure of the resort. Developer Steve Raspoort then rebuilt it bit by bit into a thriving resort with a golf course.
The Blue Bay resort offers villas and apartments as well as a golf course. It is a resort to enjoy. The villas have a private pool. The apartments have a shared swimming pool for cooling off. At the Blue Bay resort, each accommodation is different. Always pay attention to with how many people you can stay, this varies per accommodation.
The resort has a private beach with a restaurant and beach bar and also at Landhuis Blauw you will find a delicious restaurant. There are also opportunities to learn to dive at Blue Bay Dive.
